GT Summerlin- Treasurer

Gerald Summerlin Jr. is a Certified Financial Planner in Reidsville, NC.  He has been a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial, Inc. since 1993.  He resides in Summerfield, NC with his wife and two children.  He is also a gifted musician.  He has been playing guitar since 1982, performs regularly with other local musicians, and has recorded two CD projects.
Bill Moore

Bill Moore-Graduate of UNC and worked 34 years in the textile industry retiring in 2000 from Pillowtex Corp. Bill has been a potter for 15 years working with high-fire stoneware and raku pottery. He is co-owner of Hawk Spirit Studio with his wife, Susan, who is a potter and glass artist. In addition to being an artist, Bill takes seriously a responsibility to be a supporter and patron of the arts.

Rick Wall

Rick Wall is a resident of Wentworth.  He has provided computer technical assistance to area residence for 22 years.

Rick has been a nature/landscape photographer for the past 10 years and has received awards in local and state juried shows.  He enjoys photographing the great outdoors from the beaches of North Carolina to the majestic mountains in Alaska.  Rick is an avid supporter of the arts. He considers Rockingham County’s cultural economy as an important profile of our citizens.

Educator, musician and photographer.

 

Bob Wickless- Past-President

Bob Wickless moved to Rockingham County in 2008 from Maryland where he was a human resources director for a large, urban police department.  He has a Bachelor’s in English from the University of MD and a Master’s in Writing from Johns Hopkins where he was a Teaching Fellow.  His poems have appeared in many magazines and literary journals—American Scholar, Antioch Review, Poet & Critic, Poetry, Shenandoah, Southern Indiana Review, and Southern Poetry Review among them.  He was a member of the MD Poets-in-the-Schools for many years and taught workshops to students of all ages.  Now living in Reidsville, he spends his time writing poetry, fiction, and song lyrics, working in photography and stained glass, and fooling around with various forms of art.
